I have found myself at various points in my life in meditation and prayer about clarity.
Occurring at some crossroad, decision or frustration, my question was often – what should I do?
Through many years of spiritual study and a boat load of life experiences to hash it out, the answer has become clear.
Frequently we already know what we should do.
The pang in the gut that says to do the scary, seemingly impossible thing is our Higher Self directing our path.
But fear steps in and says, “I can’t possibly do that!”
And so we stop in our tracks and ask again.
Not realizing that the journey is the point of our being here, we often remain paralyzed in a situation or circumstance that doesn’t serve us anymore.
And since it’s not serving us, it likely isn’t serving the people around us either.
I have heard people point to a lack of faith in God for not making the necessary changes that life requires.
I’d like to argue that it is more of a lack of faith in ourselves as God has already provided everything we could ever need.
Indecision and inactivity rob us of the joy, happiness and health we deserve.
The beauty of Life is that all we need to do is take a single step in the direction we feel lead to go.
When we do, the path begins to light up and all the resources we could ever need appear.
Today I challenge you to cultivate a greater idea of yourself.
You are more than you are allowing yourself to be.
